Leeds Trinity University

Leeds Trinity University is a vibrant, employer-focused campus university located a few miles from Leeds city centre. The university prides itself on providing a community atmosphere for its 3,000 students, who come from around 30 different countries. A recognised provider of high quality education, Leeds Trinity University is in the top 10% of UK universities for teaching excellence (Sunday Times University Guide 2013) and the Top 10 in the UK for student satisfaction with feedback and assessment (Guardian University Guide 2013).

Support for international students

The university has a growing number of international students and gets to know each of them personally. Students are offered enhanced support and assistance, which helps them to feel at home straightaway. This includes an extended induction programme throughout the first month of the academic year, credit-bearing ‘English for Academic Purposes’ modules and a regular programme of social activities. There is also a multi-faith prayer space that all students can use, as well as awards and scholarships available for international students.

Focused on employability
Leeds Trinity University is employer-focused and works closely with employers to address the skills needs of today’s workforce. It is one of the only universities to offer professional work placements with every degree, thanks to its extensive links with employers. All of the university’s degrees have a strong professional focus and as a result, the university has been exceeding national employability benchmarks for a decade, with the latest figures revealing that 93% of our 2011 graduates were in work or further study six months after graduating. (HESA Destination of Higher Leavers Survey 2011).
